This book was put together to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Amelia’s Magazine. It has a gorgeous gold foiled cover, is 96 pages long and features gold spot printing throughout.
The book features exclusive artworks inspired by That Which We Do Not Understand, interspersed with short stories, flash fiction and poetry. These beautiful, inspiring and thought provoking contributions collectively question and celebrate the miraculousness of life, and some of the finest artworks are also available as gorgeous gold leaf limited edition prints.
The theme was inspired by the personal experience of two late miscarriages, and explores the many ways in which humans seek to understand the things that they don’t understand in their lives: think Mysticism, Spirituality, Alchemy, Paganism, Witchcraft, Herbalism, Shamanism, Magick, Voodoo, Folklore, Occult, Esotericism, Tarot, Astrology, Animal Spirits, Paranormal activities, the Moon and much more.
No matter how much we quantify and analyse there are still many unknowns that we must embrace, especially when it comes to matters of life, love and death. It is human nature to query that which does not make sense, and these questions have forever fuelled our quest to explore, create and connect.
